Tasman Glacier Lake

This is the terminal lake of Tasman Glacier, which is New Zealand’s longest at 27 km (17 miles) long. There are these huge chunks of ice that have broken off, which lie among the huge mountains of mt cook national park.

To give you an idea of the sheer scale of it all, if you look closely you should spot a yellow boat passing through the two pieces of ice to the left of the frame.
