Making yourself use your camera everyday will have beneficial consequences on your photography and I thought I would share a few reasons why you’ll reap the benefits of snapping the shutter everyday.
You will learn the settings of your camera so well that it will be second nature when you adjust aperture, shutter speed and iso for each shot. You will get used to quickly assessing the lighting and scene and adjusting the appropriate camera settings to capture the best shot.

As you camera will be on you a lot of the time you will get much quicker at getting it out of your bag and ready to shoot in no time. This means that you will be able to capture those time sensitive moments with ease, such as when the light is just right or capturing that action shot in the spur of the moment.
It doesnt matter what type of photography you are into, it is always a benefit to be more efficient in operating your equipment in order to capture those beautiful images.
You may have an arsenal of lenses by now, but you still struggle at picking the right lens for the situation? By shooting everyday you will learn much more quickly as to what lens to load onto the front of your camera, and be prepared for every situation with the correct lens.
Knowing which lenses to use all the time makes things much easier and fun, you wont even have to think about it. Just assess the situation whip out the lens of choice and you can concentrate on the subject without worrying about choosing the wrong lens or changing lenses half way through.
